Play styles
One style is active at a time. Change it from Input Settings.
- Swipe — drag down to load, flick up to strike. No camera.
- Motion Detection — stand in frame; the camera tracks your body. Empty hands.
- Phone Club — press and hold, then swing the phone. Needs Screen Mirroring / TV.
Aiming
Offset your facing from the pin line. Full circle, ±180°, and it wraps — you can aim back down the tee. Aim only at address (or while reading the green), never mid-swing or in flight.
- Horizontal swipe — left or right. About 90° per full-width swipe; stack swipes for bigger turns.
- Aim rail — Motion and Phone Club. Drag the gold thumb. Cream tick is pin-straight; green tick is the caddie line.
- Body lean — Motion only. Arms out in a T-pose for about half a second, then lean left or right. Stand upright to lock; arms down to leave pan mode.
- Read Green — on the green or fringe, toggle the overhead contour camera. Swipe and rail still aim while you read.
Swipe swing
- Swipe down to load. Depth sets the power ceiling. Cue: “Swipe down to load”.
- Flick up to strike once you are loaded. Cue: “Flick up to strike”.
- Sideways in the flick shapes the shot — left is draw / hook, right is fade / slice. A near-vertical flick stays straight.
Early drag locks as aim (sideways) or swing (down). Mid-swing never aims. While the ball is flying, a swipe restamps spin the same way as the spin dial: down for backspin, up for run.
Motion Detection
- Stand about 45° to the camera. Hold still at address for a couple of seconds until you are armed.
- Swing empty-handed. The analyzer tracks takeaway, impact, and finish.
- Open palm toward the camera can open the gesture club menu; a fist dwell selects.
Phone Club
Locked until a TV / Screen Mirroring connection is up. Press and hold the plunger, roll the phone back, cast through, finish, then release. Lateral phone motion shapes face and path, with a straight-hit deadband.
Clubs
The bag button sits bottom-left (short labels like Dr, 7I, Pt). Open the wheel, swipe up for shorter clubs and down for longer, then tap a segment or the bag again to confirm.
After each scored lie the bag auto-selects: putter on green or fringe, sand wedge in a bunker, an extra club from the rough, and a distance match elsewhere. Driver only from the tee.
| Club | Soft–full band |
|---|---|
| Driver | 170–220 yd |
| 3W | 155–195 yd |
| 5I–9I | 130–165 yd down to 90–120 yd |
| PW | 75–105 yd |
| SW | 50–80 yd |
| 60° | 40–65 yd |
| Putter | 2–25 yd — rolls, never flies |
A hard smash can run past the band. Driver can stretch toward about 300 yards.
Mid-flight spin
While the ball is airborne, drag the spin ball above the bag — or swipe the screen. Down is backspin (check). Up is forward spin (run). The dial only nudges the spin the club already stamped.
Other chrome
- Rehit — mulligan. Undo the stroke and restore the previous lie, even mid-flight if a stroke is on the card.
- Replay — watch the tracer again. A handle slides in from the trailing edge when automatic replays were skipped.
- Play on — skip the hole-out flyaway and set up the next shot. On the Range this is Next ball.
- Mini-map — press-drag for a bird’s-eye scrub; release to return to address.
- Read Green / Putt View — overhead contour grid vs low putt camera. Green and fringe only.
- Score pill — opens the scorecard. ⋯ opens pause.
- Address the Ball — ends a practice stance and returns you to the real shot.
- Flip camera — on the Motion picture-in-picture when the full course is on the phone.
